The Foundation...
The mission of the New Mexico Broadcasters Association has been to serve its members and their communities for 55 years. Broadcasters provide their communities with millions of dollars in free airtime to promote local fundraisers, school events, local charities and other events that raise millions of dollars. The Foundation continues in this tradition by giving thousands of dollars in scholarship money each year to New Mexico students attending New Mexico
colleges and universities. Select events throughout the year raise funds for the Foundation’s work across the state.
Gridiron— During election years, the NMBF hosts the political event of the season. As a satirical roast, no politician is left unscathed in this uproarious and fun evening!
 Links for Education Golf Tournament— June is the perfect month for one of the Foundation’s biggest events. In its fourth year, the Karl Malone Links for Education Golf Tournament raises tens of thousands of dollars while providing a great day of relaxing golf and wonderful meals.
 Pete Domenici Youth Achievers Scholarship is presented by the New Mexico Broadcasters Foundation to five teens from New Mexico. These high school students are recognized for positively changing their lives through the lessons of Character Counts.
